Construction Adhesive
Tytex construction adhesive is a fast curing gel adhesive which is very easy to apply using a cartridge gun. It is conforms to EN 204 D4 Waterpprof and is specially formulated to give high strength bonds. Bonds a wide range of construction materials (see some listed below).

Clamping or pressing time is just 5 to 10 minutes and full bond strength is achieved after 24 hours.

Materials to be bonded should be clean, dry and free from dust, grease and other contaminants. At least one of the surfaces to be bonded must be porous to allow moisture to reach the adhesive and effect the cure. Ensure surfaces are always clamped during the cure. Cure can be assisted by slightly moistening one surface with a damp cloth, but do not over wet.
Cartridge Application
- Cut the tip of the cartridge and screw on the nozzle. Cut nozzle to an angle of 45°.
- Apply the adhesive using a standard cartridge gun to one of the surfaces to be bonded and assemble the bond immediately (within 5 minutes).
- Apply pressure to the bond, by using a clamp.
- The product will foam slightly on application to fill any small gaps.
- Clean any excess adhesive immediately.
- Any cured adhesive must be removed via mechanical means or sharp tooling.
