D4 Waterproof PU Adhesive
Tytex 30 Minute Set PU Adhesive is a premium moisture curing, single component, D4 Polyurethane adhesive. Fully waterproof to EN204, it is the perfect adhesive for some of the most demanding of applications. Ideal for bonding an array of materials including wood, plastic foams and other materials. Suitable for all timber to timber applications including Accoya, and can bond metal and plastics to wood.

Clamping or pressing time is 30 mins, and full bond strength is achieved after 24 hours.
Suitable for a range of applications including:
- Wood jointing and construction
- Window and door frame manufacture
- Door manufacture
- Furniture manufacture
- Staircases
- Structural panel jointing
- Insulation bonding
- Boat building
NB. not suitable or polyethylene, polypropylene and other low surface energy materials.
Ensure materials to be bonded are clean, dust and contaminants free.
Apply the adhesive via a brush or spreader to joints, for panels it is recommended you use a glue roller to one surface only of each glue line.
The amount required will vary according to the porosity/smoothness of the substrates and the means of application, but will normally be in the range 100-150 grams per square meter.
Clean Down
Tytex 30 Minute Set PU Adhesive when uncured can be removed by cleaning with a pure solvent. Always take extra care when using solvents.
Cured product will prove very difficult to remove, however soaking in a pure Solvent overnight will soften the adhesive.
If using Tytex Liquid PU with an applicator such as a roller then clean thoroughly with Solvent.
